Welcome to the blog for Sustainable Dining at Virginia Tech!
This site was created to serve as a resource to students and others in the VT community for green dining at Virginia Tech. In addition, this site provides information about what Virginia Tech Dining Services is doing to integrate sustainable principles into food and dining experiences on campus. We often feature information on the Farms & Fields Project, which is a local, organic, and sustainable food venue in Tech’s Owens Food Court. We also talk a lot about the Dining Services Farm at Kentland Farm, which is a campus farm whose produce is used in our dining halls on campus.
